Haley Willis

Hey, I'm Haley Willis. I work as a lead environmental consultant here at RMA, specializing in the environmental concerns (and opportunities) that data-centers and other similar, warehouse-based facilities face every day.

I graduated from Clemson University with a BS in Biosystems Engineering focusing in Ecological Engineering, and a minor in Sustainability. Ever since I was younger, I have been enthusiastic about the environment, and have tried to incorporate it into my personal and professional life when and where I can! I was the director of Clemson University’s undergraduate student government sustainability committee and was heavily involved in zero waste, energy efficiency, and social justice efforts while on campus. My education and background have also afforded me experience with scientific research, which presented itself into one of my favorite experiences - presenting at an international conference at the United Nations in Vienna, Austria!

I've been with RMA since the end of 2020, after having worked for several years in the energy sector as an environmental professional, including at coal-fired and nuclear power plants, solar and wind farms, and more! I like to think of myself as a jack-of-all-trades here at RMA, focusing on Air Quality Permitting, NPDES Permits, SPCC Plans, RCRA/EPCRA considerations, Environmental Management Systems, and Sustainable Practices.

I currently facilitate environmental management for over 50 sites globally across 4 different continents. Despite sounding busier than can be, in my free time I really enjoy visiting our country's National parks, woodworking at home in my woodshop, kayaking, and spending time with my partner and two cats.
